Community Wide Poll Results
Right, so, thank you everyone who participated in the community wide poll. I really appreciate it. It will help me a lot. Basically, this is what is going to happen:
First off, I am glad everyone is enjoying the plethora of different challenges! Variety is the spice of life, so it is good people like different things. I hope you continue to be satisfied with the challenge rotation. And for those of you who voted for episode challenge or character specific challenges, don’t worry! We’ve got a couple of those coming up soon.
Starting from here on out we are going to UNSCREEN submissions after winners are revealed. Several of you did vote that you were not comfortable with that. If you are really, really uncomfortable with it, let me know and I will keep your entries screened. You must request that though or it will get unscreened with everyone else’s!
Voting, however, will stay screened. To compromise with those who wanted to snoop around the voting, though, I will, from here on out, put the number of votes each winning icon got when I post results. Sound fair? I hope so!
The amount of time we spend on voting and challenges will stay the same as most people were pleased with the schedule we have set up currently. For those of you that wanted longer periods, stay tuned for details on a community wide challenge that might be more to your liking.
BANNERS. Okay, right. So this is a big issue because I cannot keep up as we’ve seen. xena4gabrielle has kindly offered her services (Thanks for reminding me, btw. I forgot! I’ll be getting back to you in just a moment about banners and stuff). However, from here on I would like everyone to REQUEST a banner if they want it. I’ll remind you when I post winners.
Finally the fun issues. First off COMMUNITY WIDE CHALLENGE. Everyone seemed curious about what I meant, and most of you said you’d like to know more. So I’d like you to pitch me ideas. I have a few myself, and I’ll compile my ideas and yours into another poll soon so we can get the ball moving on that. So please comment or PM me your ideas ASAP.
We are also going to start icon of the month. It will begin at the end of this month (SOON!) and it will include all first place winners. Community members will then have the ability to vote for their favourite overall icon.
If you have any issues about the changes, just leave a comment. And don’t forget to post your ideas for the community wide challenge. A new challenge will be up in a moment, and don’t forget to VOTE on challenge 13, okay?
