I've been doing a few prompts from 1sentence for Death/Rudolf and figured I'd share for the couple people who might be interested. I make no guarantees about the quality. This also isn't an actual claim and I'm not going in sequence. Nor am I likely to end up doing all the prompts. I mean, seriously, "potatoes"? What am I going to write about that?

#01 - Comfort: Der Tod knew that no one had ever bothered to comfort the small boy, but he was not expecting the surprised joy in the little prince’s eyes the first time the boy called for his friend in the dark and his friend answered.

Even as young as he was, Prince Rudolf had stopped expecting anyone to comfort him when he was frightened and alone in the dark, but the first time he awoke in the night and called for his friend instead of his Mama he fell asleep with his head in a lap and a cool hand stroking his hair; he did not awaken again that night.

#02 - Kiss: The first time Rudolf nearly kissed his friend it was der Tod who pulled away, fingers gentle on the young man’s lips as he whispered, “Not yet.”

#03 - Soft: The last thing Rudolf ever noticed in life was that der Tod’s lips were softer than he’d expected, and so very, very cold.

#04 - Pain: Rudolf had expected the gunshot to hurt, but all he could feel was the cool hand wrapped around his own, cold lips pressed to his and the deep, deep nothingness that followed; for a time, anyway.

#05 - Rain: Whenever Rudolf spent too long out in the rain he was warned that “You’ll catch your death;” that was, he reflected as he leaned back against a strong chest, head falling back to feel both rain and curling blond hair against his face, kind of the idea.

#11 - Name: When they first met he didn’t give his name and Rudolf was too young to wonder about it, by the time he figured it out he knew his friend too well for the name to hold any fear for him; if asked Death would be unlikely to admit his relief that Rudolf had not fled from him.

#15 - Touch: Der Tod’s touch always carried a hint of danger and his hands were always cold, if Rudolf allowed himself to think about it he’d have to admit that it terrified him as much as it thrilled him; der Tod found that he was not as pleased by the fear as he was by the thrill.

#16 -Weakness: When der Tod touches Rudolf just right, cool hands skimming his body, lips agonizingly, terrifyingly close to his neck, voice growling straight into his ear, they can both feel the way the princes’s knees grow weak; once or twice his legs failed him entirely, but der Tod would always catch him close before he could fall.
