Couldn't fight it!

Life is going all right. My poor dog had to have surgery to remove this.. baseball sized lump from her tummy. It was gross gross gross. And now she has this HUGE stitched scar that's about ... 6 inches long or more. This is a 13 pound dachshund I'm talking about here. She's not exactly huge. She doesn't seem to fully be herself yet. It kinda ( Read more... )

Sorry to hear about the pup... scorchia January 26 2006, 13:50:20 UTC
Do you still have your horses? Still do fanfic art? ... just curious, there actually was a purpose to this post, I forget what it was just now. Glad to hear all is going well... Oh, yeah, I remember now--- On pregnancy: You are absolutely right! My hubby refuses to get snipped until I have a baby girl. If one handful of a little boy is not enough let's throw another kid into the mix of our certifiably dysfunctional family. Not only can I not just HAVE a baby girl, but I'd really rather not go through that whole ordeal again! Sure 9 mos. without the monthly woman thing is great, it's just everything ELSE! The uncomfortableness of being abnormally increasingly large in the belly area, not being able to sleep on your stomach or roll over or get comfortable or eat certain things because you may get heartburn or throw-up, the stretch marks (which I managed to avoid on most of my body with Palmer's Stretch Mark Lotion- either that or it's the fact that my skin is somewhat like a dogs in elasticity. There's a number of other things I could say on the matter, but most are just too nasty to mention... Pregnancy... hmmm- I'd also love to avoid the whole being kicked in the guts from the inside again too...

Hi! iceysolstice January 26 2006, 21:33:12 UTC
Yes. I still have horses. I haven't drawn a lot lately at ALL. But still about the only thing I can draw well is Solstice. ;)
Make him promise that you guys will be totally self-sufficient and in your own place before you will get pregnant, at least. (I wonder if there's gene therapy you can do to ensure that the next one will be a girl...) There are a lot more things about pregnancy that make it extremely unappealing besides the ones you've mentioned. My only 'consolation' is that my mother never got morning sickness, so I most likely wouldn't either. What a consolation! EhEhehe.. kicked in the guts from the inside. You sound like Tara! *LOL*
Anyhow, things are goin great on this end. Doggie is OK, recovering nicely. More and more herself every day. The little brat. *L* I keep having to chase her out of the puppies' food! And yell at her for licking her stitches. She should get those out next week, at least, which will make me feel better.
Hmm.. I don't know what else! I weigh in for the second time next week at Curves. So we'll see where I am. I just can't stop eating the sugar!! ARGH! ;)
Anyway, I'm gonna stop now. Talk to you soon!!
