Monday shopping..
Today was pretty uneventful.. work as usual, but then when I got home I thought the computer was going to be broken and not work. It's making a funny humming noise (funnier than usual) and won't stop.. grr.. but it was stuck at the first screen.. you know the one that checks your memory? *rolls eyes* anyway, turned out that apparently the floppy disk drive failed. yay. But at least I was able to get past that page and such.
Called Kevin to check up on him. Last time I talked to him he was fully sick and none too happy about it, he says he's 70% better now, and it sounds like he's been getting plenty of sleep, and plenty of time with his girlie, so things are OK there. I'm glad! I enjoy talking to Kevin on the phone, even though he always gets 'phone sick' fairly quickly. ;)
After I got online, I was on messenger, and Shannon came online, and I asked her if she wanted to come and get me and take me shopping (I know, I'm so rude!! Sorry Pannon!! I love you!), and she actually agreed!! I highly appreciated it! Got a couple of things for my 'grandson'.. oy.. long story.. but he seems to be a cute kid, and found one other thing for a friend.. heh heh. The sad thing is that the B Dalton in the closest mall to me is CLOSING!! That and the Sam Goody, and I missed the good sale and all the anime that I wanted! CURSES!! AH well. Didn't exactly have money to be spending on me anyway. *big sigh* ;) But she and I had fun wandering around the mall nonetheless. Then afterwards, we stopped by P-chan's work and bugged him for a little while! TUrns out that we're not supposed to go onto the main floor where there are actual people working, so we sat in the break room.. but it was still entertaining. ;)
Now I'm home, and P-chan is on his way over!! The plan is to watch some Fruits Basket. YAY! ;) Tomorrow I don't work till 8:30 but also don't get OFF work till 5pm. So sad!! I hate when they mess with my schedule! Ah well.. life goes on.. I'm all excited though, for my Lexy to come visit! Heeee..
