What on earth are the makers of the anime doing?! They're cutting basically every match of importance and it's killing me. First Sanada vs Yukimura, now both S3 and D2 just so Tezuka can leave a little earlier. I wanted to see the epic blood bath via tennis balls and fences that would have been S3. And D2...

I get this horrible feeling that every cut match is going to be justified by "Oh don't worry, we'll just put it in the special features of the DVD's; it's not like you're going to miss anything." The idea that it will all be like that is... there are no words to describe how frustrating and disappointing it is. Being chased by angry hawkes and secret missions for sake are getting more screen time then the actual tennis. I don't care that Ryoma is there, he's not even in half of the episodes at any given point anyways so why cut through so much on matches that don't have him around?
I really want some kind of sign that this series is going to get better, because at the moment its 'oooh yay they're doing THAT and and and why the hell are you cutting this?? and oh look, back on trac-- DAMN IT WHY DID YOU CUT THAT OUT?!?!?!
Why must every good series do this? Why???? Go back to crapy quality if you must but please do the series justice!
