I did what I said I would~
Which was not posting unless it was a non-blahing post ^^
And indeed this won't be and if any happens to slip in it will be inconsequential I promise.
Went to Fremantle today with Rhi-chan! A good 45 min train trip but whatever XD It was partly because I needed some cheering up and partly because she finally got herself a new job (she's been at her old one since high school. Like 5-6 years ago and she hates it) and we needed to celebrate. With books, coffee, chocolate and shopping of course~
We went straight to Dome cafe for coffee (mmmm lovely long macchiatos~) and chocolate cake for her and hedgehog for me ^_^~ after almost getting run over a few times, we had gone through the bookshops (brought some though I swear I didn't mean to) and went in search of a hat for my prac. Because apparently my chosen school is snobbish and I hate the hats at home XD we went from normal bloody awful looking hats to fancy race hats, top hats and Mad Hatter ones XD
Needless to say, I came home hatless XD
Putting that to one side, we went to our awesome habitual place for lunch. Since we have one in Freo where we almost never go to and our favourite spot to sit and everything but, since we're at the city all the time, it takes us an hour and a half to find food and what we end up with is never impressive nor awesome. But it failed us. We paid for our awesome food which would be Indian and yummy and delicious and any other word that means the same thing--
And they totally, utterly and completely forgot about us.
We talked for about 20 minutes before we realised food should have magically appeared by then. And it was another 20 before I got pissed off enough to get up and ask just where the hell it was and were they raising the cows and growing the herbs or something?
There were people in front of me, so I stood there with my arms crossed and my 'mad steely stare' as it was later dubbed looking damn well intimidating for all my 158 cm's of height. I scared the hell out of the guy when I calmly, firmly stated that we had been waiting 50 minutes now and just where was our food? It came not 5 minutes later. I was impressed.
So we made ourselves feel better with yummy tiramisu from the chocolate place there XD twas yummy~!
