I was drawing my "thank you" card for one of the teachers at mum's school, who has kindly given me heaps of her books and promises the rest when she retires, and because of what she likes, I did a fairy for her. Now because of the good little anime person/manga person/otaku that I am, I found an anime-ish one online to vector and use as a base. After swearing at the damn back leg that refused to look like one, I had to colour and shade it...
I fail epically at using those special pen/texta/felt things for colouring them with, especially for large areas. But I still decided that it looked plain and boring without and that the worst that could happen is having to do all 2 and 1/2 hours of it again. So I used them...
