Remember how I said Supanova broked me and that I shouldn't buy anything until my funds picked up again??
Well... that kinda failed. Totally not my fault though. I blame the only working bookshop in the city; Dymocks.
I was waiting inside for a friend because I like walking in the rain, not standing in it, and to make sure that they didn't kick me out I carefully looked at all the books in the store. Of course, I had 1/2 hour to kill so I read through some pages. There is one series by the person writing the Mercy Falls series (LAST BOOK SOON PLEASE DON'T FAIL ME!!!) that I read through and wanted. And just to wrap things up nicely, two sequels to books I had been screaming for were there. I brought one because the other cost $37 and it wasn't hard back and will someone buy it for me? inui_girl?.
I tried to walk away after that.
But then there was a Marcus Sedgwick book.
I own 7 of his books already and he's an awesome writer and this was his first book out in ages. ... ... ... ... ... ... so of course, I brought that too.
Plus side! I found the only free tennis courts in WA and me and ItachiInui-chan will do our best to not fail as epically as we think we will. Here's hoping the next time I post I have stronger will-power...
