I'm a Dancer
When I grow up, I want to become a dancer.
We just saw the Alvin Ailey II Company here at UNT. They were amazing. Ailey II is Alvin Ailey's junior company. They're people around my age (or slightly younger) who are trying to break out into the dance world. They were phenomenal. They danced my favorite classical modern dance of all time: Revelations.
There aren't enough words to be able to describe how I feel right now.
I know that the economy is in a downturn right now and that dancing isn't guaranteed nor is it really a steady career, but I don't care. I'm young and I'm going to do it for as long as I can because lord knows I won't be able to when I'm older.
