YOU SUCK, CAMTASIA

So. I was all pumped up for the webcast of Rex Harrington's master class from the National Ballet of Canada. I spent two days looking for software to record it and finally settled on Camtasia Studio since they offered a full-function 30-day trial. When the time arrived for the class I got set up early, made sure my laptop was plugged in, and started recording. When it was done, I stopped the recording, then waited 30 minutes for the program to "create" the file. And then...nothing happened. I went looking for my file to convert it to a more portable format. It was nowhere to be found. I checked the user guide again, and there was supposed to be a window after the file was created that would let me preview and save it. There had been no such window. The file is gone.

CAMTASIA ATE MY FUCKING MASTER CLASS. GAH!

And the class was awesome, too...Rex Harrington was a hoot, and there were some great exercises that I would have loved to study at length. Maybe it failed because the recording was 90 minutes long and it isn't capable of handling that kind of file, I don't know. All I know is that my file is lost forever. GODDAMN MOTHERFUCKING CAMTASIA. :-(

EDIT: At least it got saved on the Interwebs. I'll try again later.

ballet, seriously wtf?
