cleolinda's Eclipse in Fifteen Minutes is up! Whee!
Awesome class tonight. Even got through pointe a lot more easily than I was expecting - I actually managed to do pique-arabesque-roll down on my left foot, which tends to be very recalcitrant about bearing my full weight en pointe. I think using the older, thinner Gellows helped since my feet didn't cramp like they normally do (down side: I could feel the half-bottle of Gorilla Super Glue I used to strengthen the things rubbing my left toes).
And I have to remember to sit on the other side of the room during our weekly Scheduling meeting from now on...Project manager with biological-weapon perfume sat right next to me for 25 minutes. NINE HOURS LATER my lungs are still twitchy, my throat is still raw, and I'm still coughing up goo from the asthma attack that followed. This is the second week in a row this has happened, although last week's wasn't quite as bad probably because there was someone between her and me then. What is it with women who insist on wearing enough perfume to be smelled from 30 feet away? If you can still be smelled five minutes after you leave a room, YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG. Ugh.
