My friends, I know I've already posted about this on the main BBS site, but I just wanted to let everyone know that I created a community to forever honor Heath's memory. I'm inviting anyone and everyone who would like to say something about him to join and be heard. I plan to just let the site run until someone higher up decides to take it down. I invite you to just come by and say hi and hopefully you'll share your stories with the rest of us. Our membership is open to all and now has over 300 members.
Now, for my reason for creating the community.
I read what I could of all the wonderful stories and tributes to Heath's memory on BBS and decided that there should be a place where thos thoughts and memories can be posted and not be lost in the shuffle. BBS's main reason for being is stories about Jack/Ennis and Heath/Jake slash fiction. I appreciate that Wannabebrit is being kind enough to do a special archive of what has been left on the site for future reading and comment, but, as I said, the site is mainly for fiction and I was hoping to not overload her on this most special and tragic event. That's the reason behind the site. It's so that stories like those that have been posted don't get lost.
Well, enough of my ramblings. Not sure if I explained this right, but I tried. I hope to see you over there.
