Of little import

QOTD: "I have the heart of a child. I keep it in a jar on my shelf."

Last night I worked on wedding photos and cooked hamburger for a box mix I didn't even have. Today I washed clothes and washed my car. I did a terrible job washing my car. I waxed a few sections of the car but didn't have the time to do most of it. Bought undershirts and a pair of plaid pajama pants at Wal-Mart (the agony of Wal-Mart). Also found a thing on sale to put on the bottom of my door to help block the gap that's forming underneath as the building settles. I really rather like my apartment for the most part, but I'm overcharged for it. Things could be worse - a lot worse.

Thursday night I made a KDF character in STO. I was going to do Klingon but I saw that joined Trill was an option so I decided to duplicate my primary character so that she could exist in the ENTIRE UNIVERSE! Since I belong to an RP fleet, that could be handy. Now I just need to level her up. My main character is capped out except for diplomatic missions, so it's easy to work on something else. I must admit that even as a science officer, it's easy to whup-up on Starfleet in a bird of prey. Fed side I think my best PvP rate was something miserable like 9-3 but on my first PvP run as a KDF lieutenant I got 11-0. I mean, good lord. Anyway, something to do while I warm up the graphics card for other endeavors, that's for sure.

I've discovered recently that I have a fondness for banana split flavor ice creams. I did not expect this.

Oh, and this week I paid off my car, concluding a 58-month financial sprint. (huzzah) It is the first loan I have ever paid off and I'm very pleased. And, in proper style, that payment money has already been allocated to other projects through Feb 2011. I'll be able to start living my life when my money catches up with my financial projections. I expect that to happen sometime maybe in the late 2030s.
