QOTD: "All my possessions for a moment of time."
Didn't get to sleep until around 0430 this morning. It seems my sleep schedule rotates forward two hours a day when left to its own devices. I do actually feel more rested, though that won't be the case tomorrow when I'm clawing myself toward my alarm clock, bewildered in half-consciousness yet focused on silencing its dire klaxonic cacophony.
Worked on wedding photos today but didn't make as much headway as I would have liked because I had to stop and cook for the week. I think I could do a better job of making progress if I got more sleep, but that might just be an excuse. It's also not an excuse I'll likely have a chance to test this week since UCI projects are coming due and another after-hours graduation is this week, I think. Kemberly said she might take that one from me, which figures since I kinda wanted to shoot this one since it's the first event being held in the new events center.
I cooked mussels for the first time this weekend. They're incredibly fascinating creatures, but not very tasty. Honestly, I don't think I'm a big shellfish fan. So yeah, I had to throw the whole batch out. That's not so awful seeing as half of them were dead before I started and for what I paid it's worth knowing I don't like them. As the saying goes, if you lend a man $20 and you never see him again, it was worth the $20.
After scrubbing, before cooking.
Off unto another week!
