QOTD: "You can report your power outage online on our Outage Reporting page..." -Mississippi Power bill insert

I picked the first lemon off my lemon tree last week and took it to Alicia when I visited her in Starkville. Tonight I picked the second one and the first one I've cut and begun to consume. I thought for posterity it would be nice to know its dimensions as 8.5cm in height and 24.5cm in circumference. I was going to take pictures, but I decided I didn't feel that creative. There are many more on the way, anyway. Meyer lemons are very much sweeter than the regular lemons. I put some in my tea. To make it worth my time, I had three cups of tea.

I have a photo post forthcoming, but I just couldn't get myself in gear enough to actually get it posted today. This week is a three-day week for me, which is nice. I know I have to shoot something for public affairs Wednesday, but I suppose I can handle that. I've gotten so apathetic about my photography lately. I think I need to just stop, step back, and set some time aside to relax and just let my mind go blank. And not just not-doing-anything time, but time for a concerted effort to relax. Relaxation is not a natural state for me and I think maybe I'm a little too wound up lately. Despite visiting people and doing a modicum of socializing, I still feel like I've been running around like a stupid person for a long time now.

I did a little cleaning around the apartment today, but not much. Some cleaning that really needed to be done in the bathroom and some urgent dishwashing in the kitchen. The garbage disposal - which I never use - is very angry with me. I needed to cook today, but I didn't. All I had was fish and I didn't want to cook fish, so I didn't cook. I guess I'll be having cereal tomorrow for lunch. I need to renew my car tags online like immediately, so I'll probably do that tomorrow. Hopefully I can get the little damned sticker things in the mail in time. Hrm. Probably not in time, but oh well.

That is all.
