What a day

Good crew at work today again. End of the shift was particularly enjoyable. Not too many people in the park today. It was blazing hot, though. I had Monorail side Exit first off and Monorail Redirect right after that. What a day to forget the sunscreen. At least I've been browned evenly. Julian accused me of following him around all day because CDS always posted me right next to him. Caught the Dynamic right as I stepped off the Cast bus at Westclock, which made me quite happy. Was on a schedule to go to Wal-Mart to pick up apartment things and then to get back and finish my paper* but when I got in, a message on the answering machine from my class instructor said that class is cancelled for tomorrow and that our papers will be due the following week. Hooah. Now I don't have to rush and I can procrastinate even more! There was also a hand-written message that Chad had called, but there was no number and I don't have a calling card to call his cell, so I guess that will have to wait. I still need to go to Wal-Mart, but I need to try and find Scott, as I have a feeling he's not too happy with me right now. He's probably somewhere watching the Green Bay game right now, so I doubt I'll see him for a while, which is bad since this isn't something that can be ignored.
Paycheck for last week was good. Hours for next week are not. It's about to get really hard to get hours.
Disney trivia of the day: The Cast Deployment System (CDS) is a computerized timeclock system that issues work assignment information to Cast members as well as clocks Cast in and out of work. Not all Cast members use CDS; the monorail crews, for example, do not.
* I had two and a half pages done - had just gotten past the nasty intro crap - when I snagged the power cord of my computer and lost it.
