ahh, times like these i miss. i love my sister and all, but i love it now when i'm home alone which hasn't really happened at all this summer since i've been at home. tonight we had our movie creation night at paradigm. not everyone that usually comes came tonight. :( hmm, well it still turned out alright. i was a camera person/ director for one of the movies. i was wanting to be behind the camera, but i got the quietest team of the three that were picked, haha. it went of by counting off everyone, 1,2,3, and i got all the 3's. it took forever to get then motivated into doing the movie, i was fishing for ideas, but they were all blank. so i was like, ahhh, trying to keep talking so they would see that we needed to get going because we only had 45 mins to make a 5 minute movie. so eventually i had to come up with a setting and tried to get people to play certain parts. it wasn't until the last 20 mins most of everyone got into how they were going to do their part. so we finally started to shoot some video about the last 10 mins before our time ended and we were just rushing to get something recorded, not like the other teams, which probably had almost all their movies done by then. well it still came out with some funny parts in it.
it was supposed to be an action movie. ours didn't have a name, but it took place in a bank with a janitor that turns into our hero after hearing screams from the bank lobby. the villian robs the bank and in comes our janitor and fights with the villian who has a dog (btw we had to have a hero, drama queen, and an animal). so they fight for a good couple minutes and the villain thinks she gets away, but the hero comes back and takes her and her little dog down too. hahaha. well it was good for the experience. i hope this helps them out in the future so they can think of more things to do. the other movies were very good, one was very kung-fu influenced, the name was actually kung-fu angels III. i dont know if the other one had a name.
i did some housesitting this past week, yeah well last thursday to yesterday, i looked in the house from time to time and made sure everything was okay. i got $15 for it, pretty good. the first time i housesit for someone, i only did it for a weekend and i got $30! i was so shocked by that.
i'm ready to leave for omaha. i'm sure that i will go, because i need to get away for a while and see how things work in other places. i'm not running away from anything, it's just that i'm bored and i want to be a part of something for a while and see if i fit into it. my friend tasha will be back tomorrow, probably late night.
