"Summmmmmmmer timmmmmme and the livings easy..."
Hey Teens!
It's a lonely saturday night here in Gainesville cuz' my lady's about 120 miles away, but Rico's doing his darndest to keep me company. He just doesn't look as hot in high heels, even if he does have the legs of a thorough bred. I know Mazza would be keeping me company too, but that lucky bastard already had his last final and left earlier today. Luckily, I have only a few days left before my summer starts, thursday to be exact, but I'm guessing that these last few days will seem to drag on forever, especially since I'm pretty much just chilling out until my last test. I'm also trying to kill time by watching some of the movies I've downloaded this year. I actually just got done watching The Virgin Suicides, so that'll sort of tell you what kind of mood I'm in now. There are so many movies that I still want to download, but that won't be happening anytime soon, because UF called me and told me that I was in trouble for downloading files onto the campus network and therefore had to delete Kazaa, thus leaving me with no other choice than downloading music and movies on Rico's computer, or as me and Mazza call it, his Porn Factory. Rico's quick to deny these claims but is fast to admit that Mazza's bed is his official "Mastabatorium."
I was also doing some thinking tonight------ hold on, Megan Just IMed me and shes drunk ----- anywho, as I was saying, I've been doing some thinking tonight. Mostly about Ravyn, my friends and what I'll be doing this summer. Seeing as to how I can look back on this entry in late August, I've decided to post a few summertime goals, this way I can see what's accomplished, as well as hear feedback from anyone else who has some good ideas.
- Be more romantic with Ravyn. MUAH
- Watch a lot of movies with Caffrey and Mike. There's a lot of older one's out there that I have wanted to see forever.
- Read a lot of books that I've been meaning to read.
- Spend quality time with my family and dog.
- Sit down and really think about what I want to do with my life. Right now I plan on majoring in Political Science and English, but I'm still not sure what I'd like to do yet. I've actually been thinking about doing what caffrey's been thinking of, for he too might major in English. His plan is to become a teacher for a little while, so that he has something to fall back on. He will then pursue his goals of being a writer and a director while earning a steady income and perhaps raising a family. Maybe I could do something like that. I've always felt that although teachers may not make a lot of money, they do however receive a whole lot of free time, such as guarenteed weekends and holidays off. In my spare time, I could pursue my goals, such as Law school, as well as maybe writing some scripts. I was actually thinking it would be pretty cool if me and Caffrey could someday move to New York City or Hollywood together and really pursue the movie thing. Me and him could be like the Coen Brothers or the Hughes Brothers and make some sweet movies. (The Dan Brothers) This may be unrealistic and I have no idea what Caffrey thinks about it, but it's still a dream I have. I think that we could come up with some really weird ideas, plus me and him have always had our plan to rent a cabin on some snowy mountain and write a movie.
- Get a great tan, and skim board a lot with Mike, Bobby and Ali.
- Visit Matt, Jeff and Chris in G-ville, as well as anyone else who is staying for summer classes.
- Visit friends in Titusville.
- Go fishing with Kevin, Mazza and Alec.
- Start working out again. Mazza got me started a few months ago, but in the past few weeks I really haven't gone. I'm now, as Arnold would say, a girly man.
- Chop down some giant trees, because it is very fun to do and makes me feel manly.
- Random acts of meanness Kindness.
- Try to put together and burn off all of the full albums I have in MP3's, so that I can clear up some space on my PC as well as add to my CD collection.
- Try more carefully to avoid senseless arguments. It'll take some pride swallowing, but it's worth a shot.
- Goto the shooting range a couple times with my dad. Maybe even kill a man.
- Play a lot of hockey, soccer, football and ultimate. (that's what us "College Kids" call ultimate frisbee)
- Get a haircut. Maybe dye it black.
- Jam around with the guitar at Nick's. Learn tabs to my favorite songs.
- Save up money for my apartment next semester.
- Get a job. I guess that this is pretty important, especially because it is the way I will provide sufficent funds for my summer escapades. If anyone out there has a hook-up, please contact me because I'm pretty much willing to work almost anywhere but Publix.
- Go to the Bahamahs on a cruise with all of my friends. I'd like to do something like this as sort of an end of the summer blow out.
Well, that is my tentative list of goals for the summer. I'm sure that there are plenty I've left out, but that's all that I can think of for now. The suns rising up through my window now, so I guess it's about bed time for this cowboy.
