I've been awake on and off for roughly two days finishing a paper for my African Politics class. Now that I am done, I figured I'd do a quick update. Quite a bit has gone on since I last wrote an entry, but I really can't recall a good portion of it for the time being, so here are some odds and ends.
First of all, for all of you that didn't hear, Ravyn and I broke up about two months ago. Luckily it was a nice hug and kiss goodbye kind of deal. I did get bitch slapped at one point, but it was much deserved. Overall though, it went alright and we were able to hang out a bit over Spring Break.
Melendez got off with about a years worth of house arrest. If you ask me, that's not too bad considering what actually happened. Now he gets to stay in his Uncle's unbelievable mansion, complete with basketball court, gym, and golf course. Hopefully, I'll get to see him when I'm home and we can go swimming in his luxury pool. That is, if his GPS ankle bracelet is water proof.
Jeff got a really cool looking motorcycle.
I had an extreeeeeeeemely fun weekend of boating and dancing and what not in Orlando recently. It was sort of an unexpected, last minute type of trip which ended up taking Rico and I four hours of manic driving, but it was well worth the odyssey. Because of this trip though, I may have contracted Mono. I won't know for sure unless I start showing symptoms in the next few weeks. Sort of an odd souvenir if you ask me.
My final test for the semester is April 27 and then it's back home to New Port Richey for two weeks before I have to return for summer classes at UF. I really want to do some skim boarding and surfing with the coolest hardass I know (Wilfong), maybe some fishing with Kevin, Ultimate Fighting with Balletta, Frank, and Mahoney (he'll have to watch I guess), and god willing, some movies with Caffrey and Alex. I really haven't seen that many movies lately and need to play some serious catch up. There is some low budget, indie-sleeper movie out about Jesus' death, which I have only just started to hear about. I think it is called "Passionate Christ" or something like that. They should really get some better advertising for the movie. I can't seem to hear a thing about this movie anywhere. Have you even heard of it?
