Art show tonight! it's an EVO reunion and I can't wait :DDDDD and I finally get my big oil landscape back, woo

my school's art show is tonight. hoooly crap. I did, however, finally finish a landscape I started in Feb. (I stopped working on it in march) AND IT LOOKS AWESOME, if I do say so myself-- as did my art teacher, loudly-- and it's going to be in the show. I'm so proud of myself :D

I was painting last night and didn't realize the extent to which I got paint all over myself, and it's oil paint so just water doesn't take it off. it's mostly all the same color, but it's what the color is that's so freaking annoying. it's this reddish-brown color and I keep finding new spots all over me and going "hoshit! as a side note to anyone who frequents my lj, I don't really update more than once a week, twice if you're really lucky, but OMG yesterday I only had two and-a-half classes... when I normally have 11 (not including lunch), granted I did have a scheduled free, and one of my teachers was also planning on being absent (so it was really 2.5 out of 9, ( Read more... )
