Day 21 - Favorite ship

So the thing about shipping for me is my favorite ship tends to be my OTP for whatever fandom I'm in at the moment. If you're not viewing this in ?style=mine there should be a list to the left of most of my fandom OTPs (so in this case, haters to the right ::snaps in a Z-formation:: ) My first ever OTP was Usagi and Mamoru from Sailor Moon, and like all my other otps, I'll never stop loving them or reading/trying to find good fic of them. The thing is, and I almost feel like a cliché for saying this, but I really don't think that aside from Usa/Mamo I've ever had a pairing really touched me the way Jack and Ianto have. I think it's because it's the first canon ship that I ever A. wrote and B. was part of the fandom. I honestly still get upset when I think about how their story ended and when I see people bashing the pairing So yeah, my favorite het ship is Usagi/Mamoru, my favorite slash ship is Jack/Ianto, and only time will tell who'll win out. ::smishes::

Day 22 - Favorite series finale
Charmed. NO COMPETITION. I always cry at the end when they're walking up the stairs and the music plays and we see old pictures because it's so happy and beautiful and I didn't want it to end! ::sobs again:: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ It's the perfect way to end it.
Day 23 - Most annoying character
My gut reaction here was to say Gwen Cooper (Torchwood) but then I remembered that A. it's less the character I dislike, and B. more the way the authors portrayed her as being able to do no wrong IN THE SENSE OF even when she does do something wrong, no one calls her out on it. She retcons Rhys and after the pizza crying scene (which wanted to make me reach into the screen and steal the pizza and squish her, even if I had just been like >8O at her) and no one mentions it. She disobeys Jack repeatedly but she's never disciplined or punished for it. BECAUSE SHE'S THE HEART OF THE TEAM GAIZ. ::facepalm::
Also, she redeems herself in CoE by being totally BADASS. (except for her recording at the beginning of Day 5, plz to not be martyring yourself nao, kthx.) Yes, there was actually something I didn't dislike about the characterization in CoE. So it's more of Gwen annoys me in the sense of JFC WRITERS YOU FAIL rather than OMG GWEN EW NO.
other characters I considered were Chibiusa, aka Sailor Chibi Moon, aka Rini (dub), aka Yamhead. Her character always grated at me (YOU HAVE A CRUSH ON YOUR FUTURE DAD TO THE POINT THAT YOU WANT TO STEAL HIM FROM YOUR FUTURE MOM OMGWTFBBQAAAAAAAAA. o_O) but once I read the manga and realized that they changed her into almost a canon-sue in the anime? RAEG. They took an arc, SuperS that was actually interesting and sort of dark in the manga, and completely changed it to be more happy happy joy TEAMWORK, even in Japan. Combined with how they made it out like she was the ONE SPECIAL WHATEVER in the S arc (before) already, it's just too much. She was an annoying character to begin with in the anime and to change another arc so that it completely revolved around her being the only one who's pure dream could save Helios/Pegasus OMFG, instead of Mamoru having the golden crystal? Gag me. See, in the previous arc, S, it was her crystal that led to the revival of Pharaoh 90 and Mistress 9, but it could have been Usagi's crystal also, in the anime they make a point to change it say NO SHE'S NOT AS SPECIAL IT ALL CHIBIUSA.
As I've mentioned before, the titular "prince", Ryoma Echizen from Prince of Tennis. He's a smug, annoying little fuckface who has no respect for anyone except false respect when he thinks his seniors have something to teach him, and I constantly want to punch him in the face. Also he's a God Mode Stu at times. Just GTFO.
In Wizards of Waverly Place, the main character, Alex Russo, is the most selfish, obnoxious character ever (and this is Disney channel) and I think I dislike her because she always wins/comes out on top. Somehow. And even when she's punished she finds ways to worm out of it. Granted, I watch the show when it's on and I have nothing else to watch, so there are a lot of episodes I haven't seen. She's out.
