...those sound a lot like my rules. Except that when I write, I choose not to listen to anything, period... I'm not too easily influenced by music but it can distract me from the mood I need to write. My muses are fickle enough as it is without me driving them away with music. :P

And the "not all plot bunnies are good plot bunnies"... I hear you. I hear you. (the initial plotbunny for my most popular story was actually an mpreg. Thank goodness I shot that plotbunny down before it could write itself...)
