Author's Note: Okay. I haven't written anything for the past 2 years, and I had this idea in my head (and partially on paper) since July. But thanks to the lovely

"Come on Ryu," Hayato practically whined in the redhead's ear, his slender fingers tagging his sleeve continually. "Just give it to me!"
"Why should I?" Ryu murmured nonchalantly, obviously looking forward to the time his right arm would be released.
"Because you like me," Hayato replied all too quickly and his dragged steps came to a halt. "Now, give it."
Ryu glanced at Hayato's hand, which was now stretched towards him, making him stop as well. With a silent sigh he looked up to meet his gaze. Determined eyes clashed with his tired ones. "Really now, Hayato. You're so persistent."
"You don't have to be shy, Ryu~!" Hayato chanted, moving his hand up and down impatiently. "No one's looking this way, so give me your button already!"
Ryu sighed a long sigh through his partially parted lips. With a swift movement, he grabbed Hayato's stretched wrist and moved it downwards, making himself some space to continue walking. As he did so, he murmured, "No way in hell."
Hayato sent a glare to the redhead's retreating back. "Why not?" he yelled, chasing after him. "It's only natural to give your uniform's second button to the one you like! Stop resisting and give it to me already!"
Suddenly, Ryu stopped moving and Hayato imitated him, a puzzled look now crossing his face. Would he give in now, or was he ready to put up another fight to give him what he wanted? "Yes, it is natural," the redhead started, his back still turned to the other boy. "It's only natural to give your button to the girl you like. I bet you don't apply in that category."
Hayato was stunned and could only blink in response. Was this really the reason why Ryu had been so difficult about it the past couple of days? An idea of a smile slowly crept its way up to the boy's lips, until it took the shape of a full smirk. Since when did their relationship apply in any kind of category anyway?
"Then," Hayato started, shoving his hands into his pockets and slowly approaching Ryu who still hadn’t moved, "If I dressed up like a girl, would that make it easier for you?"
He intended that to be a joke, but when he cocked his head in front of his boyfriend's face, he was taken aback by Ryu's surprised facial expression, obviously not expecting such a response. Upon meeting his strangely curious gaze, Ryu turned his face away from him abruptly, letting his hair fall freely in front of his face to cover up the blush that was slowly making it’s way to his face. “You wouldn't dare."
Hayato's mischievous smirk grew wider as he enjoyed every moment he managed to make Ryu lose his cool; which didn't happen all that often anyway. He brought his face closer to the other boy's until his plump lips were almost in touch with Ryu's heated ear. "Try me." His husky voice sent a slight shiver down the redhead's spine and Hayato could tell that it affected Ryu by the slight gasp he let out. If Ryu didn't have the intention to cooperate, maybe he should just make him.
Hayato watched as a tiny drop of sweat slid its way down Ryu's cheek, as the redhead wasn't sure what to think of the other boy's intentions. Ryu knew that Hayato was more than capable to go through many lengths to get what he wanted and in this case, that was Ryu's stupid second button. What made him a little more nervous was his boyfriend's hot breath tickling his neck that made his heart beat faster.
He was ready to protest when he suddenly felt a very light kiss on his neck. Hayato’s hands went straight to Ryu’s waist and brought him closer. Because Ryu was too worried about someone seeing them since they were in public, he didn’t notice Hayato's skillful hand sliding in between them and attacking his chest, aiming for the upper part of his uniform. Ryu was taken aback by this sudden move and was ready to open his mouth to ask what the hell the other boy was doing, but he suddenly discovered that no words were coming from his mouth. He tried to take a step backwards, but he stumbled on his own feet and ended up back-down on the ground.
"Hayato," he asked the boy that was now lying on top of him, his suppressed irritation enveloping each of the words he spoke. "What the hell are you doing?"
The older boy lifted his head and looked up at him. "Isn't it obvious? I'm trying to take my button. Or at least I was, before you ended us in this situation." He sat up, placing each of his long legs on each side of the redhead's hips. "And now it's mine."
"Hey, wait!" Ryu practically shouted, slapping away Hayato's hand that approached his chest menacingly once again. "This is not how you do it, and we're in the middle of the road, damn it!" Ryu's unexpected irritation made Hayato's hand pause, and he looked at the boy below him with a questioning look. "So what?"
Ryu gritted his teeth, in a vain attempt to contain his anger. "Get off me."
The boy seemed to contemplate it for a little bit, but still didn't make the slightest move. Ryu no longer wished to be in the middle of the road so he grabbed Hayato’s uniform and pushed him off. When Ryu got up he was glaring at him. "Since you insist so much on having my button, you should know that taking it by force doesn't really count."
He watched Hayato's eyes widen and his brows furrow, as all of his movements stopped instantly. "It doesn't?"
"Not one bit." Ryu spoke slowly, trying hard not to show his desire to laugh at the boy's reaction. "You ask for it and then you simply wait."
Hayato pressed his lips in the childish pout he was so good at making. "You'll never give it to me like that."
But the younger boy ignored him and bent down to pick up the bag he had dropped when Hayato's stupid impulses made him lose his balance earlier. As he was brushing himself off, he could feel a chuckle tickling the edges of his mouth. "You really are stupid, Hayato."
The boy's pout deepened. "What's that supposed to mean?" He could not remember the last time he witnessed Ryu smiling, let alone chuckling.
Ryu threw his bag over his shoulder and turned around, his back facing his almost irritated now boyfriend. "Figure it out on your own." he said as if there was nothing out of the ordinary, yet his smirk gave away that he was indeed hiding something.
"Hey, Ryu!" Hayato shouted, as the other boy started walking away. "Where are y-"
The redhead halted his steps. He cocked his head to the side for a brief second, not even bothering to turn around and look at the other boy who stood dumbfounded behind him. "Your shirt's collar is undone. You should fix it." And pushing his fists into his pockets, he kept walking, not giving a care if his boyfriend was following him or not. Either way, they would see each other sooner or later.
Hayato, though, was quick enough to notice his slight smirk. Still questioning his boyfriend's advice, he brought his hands to his neatly symmetrical collar. And then he noticed, as his thumb rubbed slightly on the empty hole his second button was supposed to be located.
It was Hayato's turn to smirk now. If Ryu could be that sneaky then so could he. Ryu didn’t know what he got himself into because Hayato was determined more than ever to get his second button.
