So summer is winding down and it's beginning to look and feel more like Autumn every day. It's still warm out. Not as hot as it a few months ago, thankfully. Perhaps I should take the opportunity and give the bike a good wash before it starts to get too cold. It hasn't been cleaned since the beginning of August, after all. ...August first to be exact.
Hn. Everyone talks about the weather at some point.
Last weekend was a riot. I still can't believe Falcon let me give him a... prostate exam. Hahaha. But, needless to say I've been combing over the results all week in great detail. A lot of it was what we already knew but still haven't pinpointed exactly how he does it. As far as better control or making it stronger or projectile fire I don't know. He'd probably just have to practice and train to see if he does something new on accident. My hand has healed fine since then. If only I thought ahead and at least wet down my hands before all that. ...Actually! I just thought of something. I should call him sometime.
This weekend was nice. Falcon and I took to the Gunship out to Aliehs III to run a couple of errands off-screen. He finished the Flyer's blueprints so now we just need to wait for assembly. One, two weeks tops. We also peeked at the Federation's recent list of bounties and I think we settled on a nice one. Because it's the biggest one out there right now. Once one of us picks up a tip we can begin the hunt. I'm excited. I think I could do with blasting some space ruffian's head in.
I got my hair cut. Not terribly short, it's still long enough in the back but my bangs are a bit more choppy and they aren't in my eyes as much anymore. I'm sure it'll grow back in no time. Falcon got his hair cut too. I'm... I'm not sure what to think yet. I'll admit he looks nice but... the resemblance is... Hm. Jeff still needs his hair cut but I'm beginning to think he doesn't want one.
...Last I spoke with Otacon he still has not finished fixing my old codec. I... would like to think he would be done by now I certainly would have but... I don't know. I can't shake the feeling it is done and he's... waiting for me to come ask for it. Now that I think about it's been over a year since we started the FOXALIVE project, and he never once updated me on any of his progress. I always had to be the one to ask. Why do I always have to go to him? That's... that's just like Snake. What is he hiding? What has Otacon really been doing with my blood this whole time? I can't help but wonder.
...I shouldn't be so bitter and paranoid.
...but I can't deny that I am. I've... finally found people just like me, ones I want to protect with my life. ........I should keep doing that, shouldn't I?

Hey, it's Sam. I uh... I talked with Snake. It went about as smooth as it possibly could have. There were some things I didn't get to say but I'm not sure if it needs to be said right now. I'll catch up later. If not I'll see you at football tryouts. Try not to go too crazy on them out there.
