Shushan (good friend from Cornell!) has been visiting this past week and so we've been go go go between work doing fun California things...Paradise Cove anyone? HOllywood Blvd? Lots of jumping dancing pictures???
Happy that I have so many creative friends. Happier that I have good genuine friends. But again....happy that I have creative friends doing creative exciting things! James works at a company that does video games...and because of that connection...basically got Shushan a job offer in California a couple of days ago! Shushan may move out here in the fall...cool!
A couple of weeks ago had a nice moment as I sat in Connor's apartment with Connor and RJ. I painted shoes as Connor and RJ brainstormed and battered ideas back and forth about their Priest Valen graphic novel pitch (Connor works at Radical Publishing, they do graphic novels...and then movies too). Had that exciting feeling that we are the young and the creative with new ideas bursting forth from our seams...we are the beginning!

stupid boys who get drunk and violent. Had to file a police report two nights ago because some guy accosted RJ and threatened he would take his eye out with a key...because he didn't let him into my apartment building. It was actually ME who didn't let this fucker into the building and RJ was waiting outside at the other door with no way in either...but of course, since RJ is the guy, and the guy was belligerent he made no sense and threatened RJ. ugh. first time someone I know has been physically threatened while I've been standing right by. Have fantasies of beating this guy up and out. RJ had a knife on him...i'm really glad the situation didn't escalate....
