I worked straight through Christmas...but still, what i did have of Christmas was very nice. Came home on Christmas day to dinner with Sara and her mom and Ben and Amy. Lil' LA Family.
And then the one day off I had this week, wednesday, I had a little festive evening with friends Courtney and Crystal. We went to dinner together and then later ventured to Candy Cane Lane - This suburban street that goes extravagant with their lights....christmas gone commercial? Well, there were people selling glowing and blinking things on the street there...what??? and funnel cake.
I work straight through until this coming Thursday...when i get to go home for a couple days over new years and then celebrate christmas with my family, yay. It's going to be a really short trip and I'm not making plans. I just hope to be.
plus, i'm tired.
my room is a wasteland.
and i spend all the time that i don't work franticaly painting shoes and sending out holiday cards. not the worst thing in the world...but no time for cleaning my room.
i can't believe it's almost 2010. This has been an interesting year - I'm certainly not the same person who entered it. but that's okay. good in fact.
Lots of ups and downs. but all in all i can look at this year with a smile. I'm pretty damn lucky friends. I'm blessed with so much love.
i'm going to go to bed now. then wake up early and paint shoes.
