working my way up
So my head hurts....i think it may be because i've been eating sugary crap the past 2 days straight
but i finally went grocery shopping today, so i think perhaps it will get better from here.
so i need to go to bed soon, because i'm super tired, but i thought i would just mention
that my shoes were in a fashion show!

basically the universe was just super in-sync for me and this girl who i was a friend-acquaintance with in college contacted me via facebook chat...happens to live like a couple of blocks for me...and her mother was running a fashion show!
It was really last minute. But basically the Emcee for the fashion show wore my shoes!
The Emcee also happened to be Joanie from America's Next Top Model (cycle 6 i believe? I just wiki'd her)
haha yes! So now when I sell the shoes I can say they were worn by her!
What should I call her ....a D - List celebrity? C - list maybe?
Well, you gotta work up the alphabet in one way or another!
Anyway it is just so coooool, and it was a bummer because i couldn't go to the show because i had to work....but i can't wait to see pictures and all - yay!
It was also just like so breathtaking to have somebody just randomly reach out to me like that...go out of their way to feature me...i mean, that is amazing, right!?
And like...god...haha, when watching marathon cycle's of ANTM on tv i would have never ever in a million years thought to myself, "yeah, that girl right there, one day she'll wear a pair of shoes that i paint...."
ahhh! Life is crazy! You never know where you'll end up!
And Friday was a blast...other than getting a call from Troy (the girl who reached out to me and put my shoes in the show)....I hung out at the beach all day with my friend Matt and his bf (yay! new good friend!) - I'm really excited. We really get along.
Went to kinko's made business cards.
Brandon, Sara, and I went to Connor's house to hang out with him and Rj. Very fun evening. For once I was not DD...Brandon was...though I'm not sure if I'd like to have that again, because Brandon is one scary driver...sober.
Anyway, suffice to say I got a bit trashy and it wasn't so fun the next morning. But quite an epic day and evening and I had so much fun!
okay. bed. i'm just exhausted overall. plus i woke up really early today to do payroll.
i talked to my dad today about life, and love, and learning...and that was really nice.
I also caught up with Jen today - yay.
and tomorrow i think i'm going out on the town w/ some work friends and then may spend the night at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills...oh life of luxury.
But i'm scared to look at my credit card bill.
