Still alive
Shaya wanted me to write again, so ... here I am.
My computer is still fucked up and day by day it gets worse.
The new computer could be here soon... or in a few weeks, I have no clue, because my brother won't tell me (he wants to surprise me, gaaaaah *lol*)
Sometimes I'm trying to read and comment here in LJ Land, but most of the time Mr. Freeze tries to stop me & ... well... he succeeds.
Sometimes I can leave a comment here & there, but most of the time ??
I can't, thanks to Mr. Freeze.
Things that happened or that I did in the past weeks :
1. Maren broke up with her bf & I was happy about it. Call me a bitch, I so don't care, he's an ass & she finally realised it.
So yaaay, she's not so much sad, but angry & disappointed. With herself & with him.
2. Because of that we spent some time together. Much more time than we spent in a month sometimes.
3. Kev finally e-mailed me and is back in the internet land now, so ... yay, welcome him back.
I'm glad he's back & that we still have this special connection :]
We haven't talked much in the last 8 months... but it's as if he was never gone ! :]
4. I watched some movies : Shallow Grave, Love Actually, Moulin Rouge, Sin City, Donnie Darko, Bridget Jones 2...
I'm not sure that these are all... but they are all I can remember right now *lol*
Sin City was okay, but I'm not as excited as many right now.
But Donnie Darko blew me away, fascinating movie, great ending.
Definitely a movie I need to watch again.
And the soundtrack is great, I'm thinking about buying it.
5. Tv Shows I watched, or tried to watch :
Stargate Atlantis (3 Episodes, The Storm, The Eye, Duet) so not a show for me.
Sorry guys, but the characters are all kinda blah to me, not that interesting... and the evil guys ??
Oh boy.. normally I love the evil guys... I loved Nina in 24, I loved terrorist mum in 24, I loved Irina in Alias & I love Locke in Lost (okay, Locke... well... he's kinda in between, good guy, bad guy, black, white... he's the grey in Lost! as is Irina in Alias *lol* ), but the evil guys in SGA were only boring.
And McKay... yeah, he tries to be funny, but the things he says ?? (like "Can I go in now ?? I easily catch a cold..." ) *rolleyes* So not funny... at least not in my opinion.
So... yeah... it's a show that I could probably(!) watch, but there's nothing that catched my interest.
I tried to watch Six feet under 5x11, but my computer froze like every minute...
So ... now I've seen the first half hour, and gave up after that...
My last 24 ep was 4x12, so I'm in the middle of the season right now.
And I will watch the rest, but right now my comp is a pain in the ass...
and the cliffhangers aren't what they were in the other seasons. I already forgot what the big cliffhanger of 4x12 was & so I don't have the "OMG, I need to know what happens next !" feeling right now & pretty much don't care for it *lol*
I watched the first 2 episodes of Weeds & so far I really like it.
but 30 minutes aren't enough.
I want it to be 45 minutes or longer.

I really like the characters & the actors.
and the story is interesting too.
Watched some Buffy S3 episodes on Dvd (Amends, Band Candy, Doppelgangland, Earshot...)

I actually wanted to see more, but I "over watched" some of these, so they were boring. I knew what will happen, everything... so ... naaah.
I watched Stargate SG-1, 8x12 (the Claudia/Vala episode !
and I really liked it.
Could be that I'm biased here *lol*
I bet I'll like the other SG-1 eps too, because of Claudia, then there's Ben ... & well... Michael Shanks isn't bad to look at either ;P
But it's Stargate & I always hated that show soooo much *lol*
So ... yeah, I kinda don't wanna see it ... but then again ... there's CLAUDIA !
... AND BEN !
And I watched more Farscape, yaaaay,
I have finally seen ALL episodes.
The last ones I didn't know.
4x01 - 4x11.
4x01 - 4x04 were the last ones I didn't know.
I had seen 4x05, the ending of 4x06, 4x07 twice... for obvious reasons *g* 4x08 once, and I began to record S4 with 4x09.
Some of these episodes made so much more sense in the context *lol*
It was kinda like watching the eps for the first time.
Realised things I didn't when watching it for the first time *lol*
and only now can I grasp, how fanastic 4x11 is.
Okay, I need to confess something first *lol*
I didn't appreciate this episode much, when I watched it for the first time.
I'd just started to watch the show, it was confusing as hell & I didn't get much.
But now, after I've seen everything...
it makes so much more sense *lol*
It's an episode you need to watch more than once to grasp it fully.
I'm really surprised about what you see in there...
You even get a glimpse on 4x12 & 4x13, whoa *lol*
And Sikozu... a Scarran Spy ... "Weak species"... uhm... huh ??

Aeryn as Chiana...
(I think in both Chiana scenes, I missed that completely when I watched it for the first time, because she talks & walks like her, it's just amazing *g* )
Chiana as Noranti... and they were all just perfect.
Then there's John's homeworld, John and his dad as Scarrans ... Humans don't have the sebeacan heat delirium, so they had no problem to use them for their breeding plans... oiii... poor Johnny, still wanting to fly outerspace... and his dad... not a hero to him...
btw. was it Wayne Pigram who played his dad here ??
At least I'm certain it was his voice O_o
It's a masterpiece, you see so much in it ... it felt like watching it for the first time *lol*
I didn't get a thing when I watched it for the first time, because the show was new to me & I tried to understand what was going on there... but I didn't know many of these people and it was just confusing as hell.
and I realize right now, that I'm repeating what I already wrote *lol* Before I write more nonesense... I'll stop here.
