-Steam's holiday sales are evil.
I bought the Broken Sword (Baphomets Fluch in german) series, because all 5 games were dirt cheap.
I've played 1 - 3 before, and knew I loved them. I had no idea there's even a 5th part, and 4 never really interested me.

I already played parts 1, 2 and 4, skipped 3 (because it wasn't available in german, and after replaying 1 + 2 in german, it would have been weird to skip to english all of the sudden) and am in the middle of part 5 now.
George had the same voice in all parts, Nico got a new one in part 5, and while I was a little bummed out by that, you get used to it quickly.
They're back to basics in part 5, and I absolutely love it! :D

- I'm currently in the process of watching some oscar movies.
But only the ones I'm interested in anyway.
Which means I absolutely won't watch The imitation game, Foxcatcher or the theory of everything.
But Gone Girl and Two days, One Night? Were both good. No regrets here :D

- Of course instead of actually watching my regular shows, I decided to start "Les Revenants". Which no one should confuse with NBC's Resurrection. Same premise, very different story.
So far I've watched 5 eps (out of 8) and I absolutely loved them.
I love how all the different stories are connected. The score is beautiful, and sets the mood in a great way. The pilot gave me goosebumps.
The story itself is eerily haunting, and beautifully shot.
If you have the chance, give this show a shot!

- I'm behind on everything, except for sitcoms, yay? XD

- I'm also fail at landcomms right now.

- I love it when people are showing their asses, but they think they're oh so clever...
I just had someone tell me (after I corrected them on how to spell "Marian") that it doesn't matter if it's Marian or Marion, because Marian and Robin both likely couldn't read or write anyway.
I just ... what?
Maid Marian and Robin of Locksley...
even if you ignore that they're both fictional characters, and if you ignore that Robin is often portrayed as born royality who then became an outlaw... if you ignore that they're both usually portrayed as smart people...
you're really trying to tell me that spelling doesn't matter because they're uneducated??
Because that's easier than admitting that you've made a mistake? Something easy like mispelling a name, which no one would judge you for, and which shouldn't be that hard to admit?? WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?!?
At least it gave me a good laugh. So thanks for that, random comment person.

movies, tv: les revenants, tv: once upon a time, broken sword
