the Globes were okay, I wasn't rooting for anything or anyone (except for Amy in the comedy category), so no big disappointments for me. I wish they would have used Amy/Tina more. I feel a bit cheated because they promoted their hosting a lot, but in the end it came down to maybe 20 minutes of hosting time in total. Maybe a tiny little bit more, but it felt like they were barely on stage, which is a shame, because they did an amazing job.
Anyway, I watched some tv today. [Random OUAT 2x11 Thoughts] First 20 minutes? *yawn* this is boring. I don't ship Belle/Rumple, and to me it's always like he doesn't respect her. He treats her like a child, doesn't listen to her, tells her half truths (like "she died" instead of "I killed her"), and whenever she pleads that he doesn't do something, he does the opposite, completely ignoring her wishes.
Anyway, then she finds Archie, and I'm pleased, because I expected this storyline to be dragged out longer.
Of course there's also one scene that made me laugh, because it was unintentionally funny. (to me)
Emma: "Henry, we were wrong, Regina didn't do it!" Henry: "I KNEW IT! Maybe we should let her know... "
THAT SHE DIDN'T KILL ARCHIE? YES, I'M SURE SHE'S WELL AWARE OF THAT!!! *lol* I know, I know, he probably meant that THEY know, and ... well, apologize to her. But it sounded funny to me. :D
The sidestory with Philip as the beast only made me wish that he could be Belle's beast, but I guess she's stuck with Rumple...
My thoughts to the ending can be summed up to: "What?! ... WHAT? WHAAAAT?!?" *lol* + ... did Hook really jump in front of the car instead of away? It looked like he was trying to get away, but his brain made the decision to jump left instead of right. IDEK...
ETA: something else I meant to mention... Rumple knew who he was from the beginning, so why did he think he needed something that protects him from losing his memory? Am I the only one who thinks this doesn't make any sense? Or did I forget something vital?
Also? Last week I finished Friday Night Lights. I started to write an entry after I had finished the finale, and my thoughts are/were all over the place. I tried to polish it a little bit, but I don't think I succeeded too much. I'm also pretty sure I forgot to mention like a million things, but it was already long and rambly, and I thought I should probably stop somewhere *lol*
[Finale thoughts + random things] I'm really glad that the East Dillon Lions went to State, and even won!!! :D Ever since Coach was forced to take the East Dillon job, I was rooting for them to go to State. I wanted him to show the panthers (and boosters) that they can't make him back down, I wanted him to kick their asses, and then he did, and he showed them. :D It obviously couldn't happen during the fourth season, because there wasn't much of a team, yet. But I'm really happy it eventually happened in the end. :D The win only makes it better. :D
- Tinker was one of my favorite supporting characters, and I'm glad he was on the "super team", too. - I'm kinda sad that Hastings never got a real story. No background, nothing. I kept calling him "pretty boy" in my head, but he wasn't more than that. Just a pretty boy to look at. - I was spoiled for one thing, I knew that Coach would support Tami in the end. But that didn't make me not wanna strangle him. Especially considering that Tami would have followed him to Florida, no questions asked, if he had taking that coaching position. I think if he wouldn't have agreed to go to Philadelphia with her, this would have ruined their marriage in the long run. She wanted this so much, she always would have been reminded of her sacrifice, especially when trying to support Eric. So, yes, glad all was well in the end. :D
- I thought I was spoiled for another thing *lol* I can't even tell you what for, I know I saw a graphic on tumblr, thought "ACK, NO, SPOILERS!!!" tried to look away, and scroll by fast. Apparently that worked, because what I thought I had seen never happened. I know it was Tami related, and she looked sad, and I thought something would happen, but ... yeah... no.
- Pretty sure I saw a picspam of the S3 finale somewhere, and thought that it's caps from the last ep of the show. Tami and Coach walking over the field, one last time, before they leave. As you can imagine, I was kinda surprised to watch the S3 finale, and see Tami and the coach walk over a field... *lol*
Anyway, yes, done, and I loved all of it. :D I thoroughly enjoyed the show. I'm glad Kyle Chandler won the Emmy 2011, and kicked my ass in gear, so that I finally started watching the eps I had downloaded ages ago :D
It's a perfect little show, with (im)perfect little characters, a lot of heart, and a perfect score/soundtrack. ♥
In non-FNL news, my paid time ran out a week ago, I noticed that I never tried their free trial, so I did that ... and I still had a week left, when I received an e-mail from LJ, telling me that my paid time has been extended for a month, because of their "difficulties" at the beginning of january. Now? My paid account expires on valentines day, and it kinda amuses me *lol*
