Last Wednesday german pay tv started airing Lost S6 \o/
I have seen those eps already, but my mum hadn't, and she was already looking forward to it.
But somehow both of us mixed up the dates and thought they're showing it thursdays *loool*
Because usually it aired on a thursday and we were used to it I guess.
So thursday I come back home from work, and my mum greets me like this:
Mom: "I have sad news for you!!"
me: *worried* *sees both cats still running around* thinking: uuh, what else could it be??
Mom: "Lost was on YESTERDAY!!!"
me: aawwwwwww!!!
Mom: but there will be repeats on sunday
me: We'll catch it then, it's okay! :]
Mom: But I was sooo looking forward to it!!!
Aaaaaaaawww!!! Mum!! ^___^
It was really adorable to see her excitement and disappointment *lol*
and that's why I was looking for german subtitles and/or the dubbed version online.
But German pay tv is a little bit weird and only aired 6x01, yes, they split the two-parter, don't ask me why, I don't like it either, and they did it before -____-
So my sub hunting resulted in only finding ones for 6x01... which I didn't want.
Why?? because than I could have downloaded the dubbed version, same/same.
After a little while I was finally able to find a subbed version for both eps, BUT I had to redownload the whole thing.
Which I did... and regretted right afterwards.
That's why:
German might be a fucking weird language, and we have a couple of extra letters like "ä, ü, ö, ß" but we definitley don't have numbers in our words, so it definitely shouldn't look like this!!
I can still decipher it, but for a first time watcher?? HORRIBLE!
That's coding gone horribly wrong!!
I was sooo mad after seeing this, wouldn't you wanna check if everything's alright with your file BEFORE sharing it with the world?? ACK!!!
So, yeah, in the end we waited for sunday, and watched that one episode then.
My weekend was spent with reading fanfiction on fanfiction.net
Really baaaad fanfiction.
I also found a couple of gems, but most of it??
Ooooh, sooo horrible.
What I've learned from those stories:
- People were much more conservative in the seventies, and not so open towards sex and relationships like we're today XD
- Babies pop out of women with the speed of light, therefore 8 babies can be delivered by the same person before it's 2pm
(and your shift began around 9 or 10am, NOT midnight)
- Sun and Jin have an army of kids in the sideways...
uuuuhm, are you even watching the same show I am watching??
- Nurses will ignore the fact that your baby is throwing up 3 times in a row.
When you ask for help the universal answer will be "She's fine!!"
- Best thing though, a 16 month old baby starts recognising you as her father after you spend a week with her... and even starts calling you daddy!!

The worst thing is that I just couldn't stop reading them *lol*
Two days spent reading mostly bad fanfiction, yaaaay *lol*
Because I haven't done it in a while, and really need more votes:
V Lims is down to 3 participants, they can't really vote...
I never got that many votes in this particular community in the first place(I think it's the first maintainers fault, + it's too neeew), so could you please please please do me the favor and vote??

I like it, and it makes me happy \o/
Especially Dance in the Dark, Alejandro(which always reminds me of a guy named Alessandro I had a crush on *lol*) and Monster!!
