Yesterday was my day off and I spent it at home... watching tv, more tv, and even more tv.

I finally finished "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles", and I have something to say about it *lol*
Short little reviews, mostly written after I'd seen the episodes.

2x16 Some must watch, while some must sleep
What?
I mean ... what?? *lol*
This was one confusing episode and I'm still not sure what was real, what was a dream and ... what they were trying to tell us with this episode.
I'm just a confused mess after this one *lol* :D

2x17 Ourselves Alone
OMG RILEY!!!! I never really liked you, but I didn't want you dead!!
I didn't know who to root for during their fight, because I'm not a big fan of Jesse either.
But in the end I would have liked Riley to win, because she was only used by Jesse and deserved better than this. :(

2x18 + 2x19 Today is the Day
... and now Jesse is dead, too.
The sub-plot (*lol*) seems kinda pointless, but I'm also wondering what "Will you join us" was all about.
Shallow sidenote, but I really, really, REALLY liked the way Derek was shot while he talked to Jesse in the parking garage *wants icons from that*

2x20 To the Lighthouse
So ... apparently 2x15 was important, very important.
Good that it confused the hell out of me then *lol*
I still don't get how her "dream" could have been real.
She killed that guy... but he injected her with a transmitter after midnight because that's the witching hour and everything is possible??
Eh, good then *lol*

It was nice to have Charley back, and I loved the scene when Sarah "told" him about her cancer. NNNGH.
I also loved all the Charley/John scenes :]
He's clearly a father figure, and it was nice to see them together.

I felt really, really bad for John when we saw Charley die while protecting him.
At first I thought "Naaaw, at least he still got Charley!!" but ... well, apparently he's all on his own now. :/

2x21 Adam raised a Cain
DEREK!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

There ... was more to this ep, but wooow, that was harsh :(
headshot, brutal and hard, not a chance for him to live through it *rubs eyes*

and in the end Sarah gets arrested *rubs eyes again*

I'm also wandering why Savannah seems so important all of sudden.
At the beginning I didn't know what to think about her, but the more she interacted with John Henry ... the more I loved her.
She's a cute, giggly girl ^___^

2x22 Born to Run
As a Season Finale it was very good, as a SERIES finale... too many questions left open :(
I want to know what John Henry did with Cameron's chip, and why he actually helped Sarah escape, was it because he saw Cameron help her??
and I would have loved to see Weaver interact with the Connors some more.
The Glimpse we saw about that was already awesome.

I'm not sure what else to say, because there are still so many questions.
It KIND OF works as series finale... but I'm not sure I like it.

Damn you Fox, for cancelling another show with great potential!

I've also seen The Closer 5x03 Red Tape, I don't have much to say about it...
apart from MARY OF AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^______^
and poor Kitty :(
Kyra was also very awesome, but ... well, she's Kyra, it comes natural for her ^__^

I've seen some people on my flist do a "First half of the Year" thingie.
Count the tv eps and movies you've seen so far, books you've read, concerts you've been too, music you've listened to.

I'm too lazy to count movies and concerts, and I couldn't even be bothered to start a "Tv List" *lol*

So you'll have to deal with the music I've listened to ^__^

Seen live in the last six months? 3 out of those 10.
(Bat for Lashes, alexisonfire, Mia.)

and I think I know Marmaduke Duke for about a month now *coughs*
Obsessive behaviour?? me?? What are you talking about???? ;P

It's not that I "hate" Hostage of Love... but I think it might be the song that plays immediately after "Wire to Wire" *lol*
and I actually like it, but apparently not enough to "heart" it.

Half of my flist is attending Rheinkultur today, watching The Casting Out and several other bands live, for free.
But I'm stuck here, because I had to work today.
Ah, well, I've seen TCO several times on other occassions, I guess I'll live.

music, tv: tscc, tv: the closer
