I hope you all had happy Holidays!
I most certainly did, I watched some movies and just relaxed, good times, good times ^_^
One of those movies was "The Wizard of Oz", since listening to the Wicked Musical and being obsessed with it for quite a while I wanted to see the movie.
The last time I watched it I was ... actually I have no idea, I just remember that the b/w scenes turned me off ... and suddendly it wasn't a bw movie anymore and I regretted not having watched it properly XD
So re-watching was really necessary and I don't regret it.
It was fun ^_^
I also saw the old Willy Wonka movie.
Yaaaaay for movies with singing people in it ^___^
but I'm glad I saw them now, that I properly understand english.
The singing isn't dubbed or subbed in those movies, but some of them were important for the story, so... yeah. ^_^
I also saw BSG S4 with my mum.
I asked her if she wanted to finally watch the "new" episodes, and she said yes.
and she was the one who wanted to marathon though the season XD
We still need to watch the last 3 episodes (4x08 - 4x10), but those weren't available, yet.
I guess we'll be finished till January 16th, which is awesome, because that's the date the new episodes will air in the US ^___^
I can't believe what I'd forgotten. I always kind of gasped and squeed when a (good) forgotten scene was coming.
Once I did it sooo loud that my mum even asked what's wrong *lol*
Oh, nothing, nothing ^___^
I also re-read all of Girls with Slingshots, which was REALLY nice.
and yesterday I was in Dortmund, buying new clothes, a new Starbucks mug (OMG, hi candy cane mug!! ^__^ ), Heroes Season 1(for 20bucks, OMG!!)
and some new comic books (mmmmmmh, Preacher ^_^ ).
Talking to the Comic Book Guy was also very nice, he's a very chatty person and ... well, you could say we're regulars and he remembers us and likes to talk to his customers. ^_^
First thing he said to me yesterday? (after welcoming me)
"You're always coming in with a Starbucks cup in your hand, aren't you??"
Uhm... ... uhm... uhm *lol*
I think he's right and I didn't even realise that!! ^___^
But I don't have a Starbucks in town, and if I'll go to the Comic Book Store I'll most likely visit Starbucks, because it's like doing 2 awesome things at once.
Appreciating good coffee and good books ^____^

Actually I wanted to post new icons today, too, but ... too much work, too little free time.
I was working 190hours this months!!
Last year I did more than 200 hours in December, but it felt much, much worse, because I had to work EVERY sunday, hadn't had any days off and was also sick.
This year I had shorter shifts, days off and ... well, there's a reason you didn't hear me complaining about work! ^___^
I wasn't as frustrated as the year before, which is a very good thing in my opinion.
Anyways, realproof will be here in half an hour and I need to get ready.
It's only the two of us, but I'm sure we'll make the most of it ^_^
