And I'm not missing them one bit. I mean, I don't have anything against textures or brushes, but I think a great coloring is worth so much more and often renders them redundant or distracting even.

But as long as they're pretty, does it really matter? Plus, I actually think that making a good icon with just colors and cropping requires a lot more talent than when you're using all that "fancy" Schnickschnack. :)
