We're gonna call not caving in to the apple pie in the break room a win today.

Well, the salad lunches, taking vitamins again, upping the water/lowering the tea intake and getting back on the exercise wagon seems to be working. I'm down nearly a pound in less than a week. I'd like to keep losing anywhere between a pound and a pound and a half per week, but even if the scale doesn't budge while the tape measure begins to read lower numbers, I'll count that as good in my book.

Tonight's workout was still with my beginner lifting weights, but it didn't seem as hard as it had been the last time. Hopefully I won't be as sore. Dad gave blood today and was told that he couldn't lift anything heavy with the arm he drew from (cold weather + not drinking enough water = sluggish blood flow and a painful draw) so we skipped squats and bench presses. Instead, I did bodyweight squats and attempted to do push-ups inside. The squats were good, the push-ups...not so much. Let's just say that I'm going to have to build up my upper body strength before I can do more than one in a row.

Counting down the days until I can ditch the glasses. Not being able to see clearly out of my peripheral vision is getting on my nerves, not to mention my depth perception still not at 100%. [/little baby whine] My eye does look and feel a LOT better, and the redness is nearly gone entirely.

I'm at the start of a long color block on my Who scarf. I don't think I'll get it done by Saturday, but at least a good chunk will be complete and I'll be that much closer to crossing off a project on my to-do list.

I've got the first ten chapters of Quotable Moments edited and ready to post up on ff.net, but there's some sort of error on the site that won't let me access the "manage story" tab. At least I have them uploaded and ready to update, so there's something. Just by editing those and a recent Citadel playthough (even if it was with my Kaidanmanced Shep) I got bit by a bunny to do a QM 'verse Citadel snippet. Or at least I have something running through my head. It hasn't made its way to the screen yet, but that's better than what's NOT been happening for practically forever.
