Just caught up with Season 1 of Grimm, bought a Bianco pizza from Toscana's, snagged two cookbooks from Hastings, and finished a glass of wine.
Yeah, it was one of those days. I'm seriously thinking of looking into moving to Austin, putting 90% of my things in storage (re: Mom & Dad's house), getting a cheap studio apartment, and putting myself through culinary school to become a pastry chef. I need to look into everything and start saving to beef up my bank account for the move - Austin's cost of living is almost twice as much as it is here - but it's looking more and more like something that I want to do. I could get a part-time job doing something to keep me in rent money while I'm in class and I can finally empty out my yarn stash and make things to sell on Etsy as an "Issa Needs to Eat" fund.
I dunno. The new semester is starting next week, so it's a no-go for right now. This just gives me time to look into all my options. We're getting a 3% raise in October, so the extra money will be a boost in the savings fund. It's just a thought - at least I'm trying to do something instead of just sitting around bitching about how miserable I am at this job and not doing anything to solve the situation.
