Finished Legacy. No spoilers, but I thought it was a great addition to the game and I'm glad that we got to see new aspects of familiar names and lore. I really appreciated the new art style and costume/creature design here. Next time, I'm going to see if I get different outcomes other than what my "Can't we all just get along?" Hawke got, depending on personalities. Kinda curious about what my Revolutionary Mage Girl, or my "I wield my sarcasm better than a knife", or my "I hate you all and wouldn't spit on you if you were on fire" Hawkes would do/say.
Also, certain character's voice actor? Woah. I have such a crush now.
Picking back up on the 30 Days of Fanfiction Meme, days 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23 (because I can't remember how many days I'm behind):
18 - Where do you get the most inspiration for your fics (aka "bunnies") from?
From anything, really. I kind of let my mind wander around and suddenly I’m in the grocery store thinking “Hey, a story with Character A and B shopping in the market would be cute, don’t you think?” or I’m at the library and “You know, So and So hates studying. What would he do to pass the time if he were stuck here?” and then voila! Instant story beginning.
19 - When you have bunnies, do you sit down and start writing right away, or do you write down the idea for further use?
It never fails that I’ll get bunnies when I’m away from paper or my computer, so I’ll let them roll around in the back of my head for a while and develop until I can get around to writing them.
20 - Do you ever get bunnied from other people's stories or art in the same fandom?
Yep, lots. That’s what I think is cool about fandom; you can be inspired by other people’s work and bounce ideas off one another.
21 - Sequels - Have you ever written a sequel to a fic you wrote, and if so, why, and if not, how do you feel about sequels?
I like sequels, especially if at the end of Story #1, it feels as if there’s more left to be said about the characters, main or side. The last sequel I did was A Rush to the Start, which I actually worked on in backwards order. The sequel came first, then the idea for the original one. And then after I was finished writing what was supposed to be Story #1, I got an idea for the sequel to that, turning Rush into Story #3.
I never really have paid attention to sequential order. *grin*
22 - Have you ever participated in a fest or a Big Bang? If so, write about your favorite experience in relation to one. If not, are there any you've thought about doing? And if not, why not?
I haven’t done a ‘fest or Big Bang, mostly because I’m afraid of missing the deadlines. That and I’m a total fandom lurker. I’ll submit a few fic pieces and read everyone else’s, but I’m like that neighbor at the end of the street that hangs out in their front yard and is too shy to say anything to anyone past a hurried hello while checking the mail. I need to get over that.
23 - When you post, where do you post to? Just your journal? Just an archive? Your own personal site?
I post to my main writing journal
bossy_muses and then submit links back to my writing journal to various LJ communities. If I can remember, I’ll post up to my ff.net account.
You know how I said that I couldn't stand Sebastian before this playthrough? Yeah, he's won me over. I'm kinda in love with this guy and I'm not sure if it's because of how I'm seeing him in my own personal headcanon or if it's just because I never really gave him that much of a chance when I was romancing Anders or Fenris.
