Went to the grocery store today, got a few items for the week, yadda yadda yadda. It was a pretty boring "just get the stuff on the list instead of wandering the aisles" trip, but I made a pit stop in the tea section to see if they had any Gypsy Rose on hand. They didn't, but they had a brand of lavender earl grey tea that they haven't carried for years. YEARS. People, this is what I wrote my '04-'06 NaNo novels on. I lived on pot after pot of this delicious concoction. It crushed me when they didn't carry the brand any more both at that one store and anywhere else in town. I haven't found an Earl Grey that I've liked as much as that one since.
My day? It has been made. There were only two boxes, so I grabbed them both up like the greedy little tea drinker that I am in hopes that they'll see that yes, someone is buying this tea and they SHOULD STOCK MORE LIKE YESTERDAY.
Going to try to live off salads for the next week. Trying different things to put in them, like chicken and tuna and just a bunch of veggies, so we'll see how it goes. I'm also going to try to hit the gym more than I did last week. I skipped a few days in a row, which makes me feel funky after going several days straight.
Now, off to the folk's house to grill up some turkey burgers and then back on home to drink delicious, delicious lavender scented liquid tranquility.
