Well, am still at home. Dad decided that we're not going because Ike's taking a more northern track than anticipated and "if we could handle Claudette, then we can sit through this."
Issa is not 100% happy with Dad right now. Apparently having listened to the EOC all day long and watching weather reports means that my wanting to leave is stupid, because he told me so. Not in those words, but the tone was there.
Windows are also not boarded up. "We'll see about it tomorrow." Didn't stop him from going into town and helping a friend board up THEIR windows all day, but hey, I don't know what I'm talking about. We're barely going to get any wind and maybe some rain.
The radio says that they strongly urge people in the Bloomington area to evacuate. We're about three to five miles north of the Bloomington area. The radio also says that there's a strong chance of getting hurricane force winds. The radio must be stupid too.

Had to call my hair stylist to let him know that we probably weren't going to make this Saturday's appointment, and he scheduled me in for today instead. Out of such a shitty month, that was the one bright spot. My ♥ for John David is of the mighty. *squishes*
