Whee!
Well, Darcy II has officially been disconnected and taken out of the spare bedroom. Darcy III, in all his shiny, sleek sexyness, has taken his place. (And now the credit card company can stop calling to ask why I haven't used my card in months) All is again right in the IssaVerse. Internet is running a bit slow, but I think that's because I'm using the old dial-up number the ISP gave me when I first signed up with them. There was another one, but I misplaced it. Will be calling them sometime tomorrow.
Slow speed? Who gives a crap? I've got my email back! Woo! *dances* Will happily wait forever for pages to load. It beats the ill-fated blue screen any day.
All my favorites are kaput though. No biggie, it's a chance to build them back up again. Anyone have any that they might want to share?
Work status: I think I've finally canvassed every single job opening around. Just by sheer volume of applications and rules of probability, there has *got* to be a chance that someone will hire me.
I forgot it a few days ago, but happy birthday to my LJ and Kique. *passes out cake* It may be late, but it's never too late for cake and ice cream! They both turned 5 on April 1st and the 28th, respectively. Many thanks to khakigrrl for the invite and metroprincess for clueing me in that LJ actually existed.
