More Mad Men

I swear to god, I am going to murder my right ovary if this cyst doesn't go away pronto.

To take my mind off the fact that I can't go more than twenty minutes now without having to use the bathroom (and yeah, the pain, sure, but that's nowhere near as awful as the reduced bladder capacity), here are some thoughts on season two and part of season three of Mad Men.

Love, love, love, love Grandpa Gene telling Sally she was going to do great things and not to listen to her mother, who will only hold her back. Bring on hippie activist Sally, yessss!

Every time I see Price, or whatever Jared Harris's character's name is, I keep expecting him to bust out a bunch of porcupine-men or something equally Fringey. Sorry, buddy, you're always going to be David Robert Jones to me.

Did not expect New Baby Draper at all! Frankly, I expected Betty to go through with the abortion, but then I remembered this was AMC, not HBO.

Still loving Peggy. Everything about her. Pete's confession that he loved her surprised me because a.) I don't quite believe he's capable of human feelings, and b.) yeah, he has a weird, creepy obsession, but love? Um. I did very much enjoy her taking him down by revealing the baby. Mwahahaha.

Speaking of Pete, I hope Trudy divorces his ass and adopts a dozen babies. I'd say I hope Joan dumps her rapist husband as well, but I think she can handle him, and is probably going to use him even better than he used her.
