...been awhile...
Yea, so it has been roughly 7 months since I have made an update. I have been otherwise distracted - so I guess updates are in order.
Living Situation - I am still in the same house, which I will post pictures up soon (with my new digital camera). Same roommates, same house. Only thing different here is the fact that Lance and Anna are no longer together. We have to move by the end of May, so I am on the hunt for a new place to live.
Career - I am still working third shift, with the same crew @ the same company. Everyday I walk into work expecting a pink slip, and will not be surprised when I get one.
Family Life - This has been the most unexpected :-) My father and I continue to grow closer, and I think we have created a good adult relationship. In fact, we were both went to Vegas at the same time and had a great time. On a same positive note, my mother has decided to calm down for the latter part of this year. Both Christmas and Thanksgiving passed relatively quietly, much to my surprise. I have begun to limit my visits which I think has helped. Also, I have laid out for my mom exactly what is going on....so "RESPECT MY AUTHORITY" ;) My middle brother is still at CoC and will graduate in 2006. My youngest brother managed to graduate HS this year, and is now living with my mom. Who knows what is going to happen there.
Love Life - Again, what is it about relationships that tend to smack you upside the head? After I ended my relationship with Paul, I was ready to be single for quite a bit. I ended up going out on date at the end of May, with a guy named Ted, and we have been together ever since. This is honestly the first time I have fallen in love with someone. Crazy crap, eh? I could go on and on here, but the simple truth of it is that we are both very happy with one another.
Friends - Awww my friends! How good I live without them? I am still running with the same crowd - lance, brandt, chris, vince, etc, etc. I have met some new people this year - I love my friends dearly. I would do anything for them, cause they are my family.
My Poor Bike - My bike has been a bit neglected since it has turned cold. I have vowed that I am going to get a tune up this month for her, and we are going to be hitting the trails again. I am waitinf for the typical warm snap....lotta snow...and then return to normal weather before I do any of this...
