~splendid weekend~
I know it has been awhile since I have posted an update. Im sorry! Its just been a crazy/beautiful weekend. Well it was a long 3 day weekend, which I definitely felt I needed. I thought that I was going to Charleston, but Maria ended up getting a job (congrats Maria), so we did not go. I was definitely a bit disappointed at first, but I am glad that I did not end up going. On Thursday, I had lunch with Brandt over at Firehouse. I then went over to Maria's, and we hung out by the pool. I like her pool - the people are nice and the water has warmed up so I can swim. It has been awhile since I have tried to swim, but it felt good to stretch out. My foot started aching after a bit, so I stopped. We then went to see Troy. It definitely deviates a bit from the 'Iliad'. but oh my, lots of nude Brad Pitt. Definitely had good dreams that night :-) From there, I met Chris and Brandt down at Harrisons. Turns out that Chris has met a girl that works at Hooters. He was telling me this story, and the marked thing about it - she remembered him! I definitely think she is all about some Chris, because he is certainly all about her. Friday rolled around - I got the estimate for the cleaning of the house from Russ so I sent them onto Lance. Anna and I went over and did girly things - pedicure, manicure, eyebrows, etc, which I then later ran her to the airport. Through out this entire weekend, my sleep schedule has been entirely fucked up. I came back from the airport, and it was 88 degrees in the house. So the A/C went on...:-( Oh well, I had been hoping to get throught part of June when it was off. To continue my movie streak, Brandt and I went to see Shrek 2. It was quite funny, and there are some parts to it that were just wrong. I am especially referring to the incident with Pinocchio and the thong - definitely wrong.
Well Saturday was by far the best day I have had in a while. Well, I had a date that night, and I went to the mall to go shopping for clothes. I was at the mall, and the bike shop called! My bike was in! WOOHOO! I have been waiting for this moment all week. So I rolled on over to the bike shop, and got my bike. It is definitely sharp looking. I ended up getting a 14 Giant Rincon in Dream Silver. It had blue accents, which is cool.

Well 2 hours later, and 500 dollars later, I was out there with my bike, rear mount truck rack, and a helmet, which matches my sunglasses. (Jordan - I know what you are thinking, and that is NOT the reason I bought it). I bought this particular style (Specialised) because it lets me have a ponytail. This is a most important factor :-) I went home, and rode a bit, but it was hot as hell so that only lasted about an hour. After that, came home and started getting ready for my date.
