(no subject)
I'm back from my weak long lapse from Connecticut/reality/Sprint cellular service. It was a nice vacation. We spent a good amount of time in Acadia National Park, which is really quite fucking gorgeous. We went there and did this park loop road, stopping at the sites to see things like views of Frenchmen bay and stuff. The next day was rainy, but we went on top of Cadillac mountain anyway. The top was covered in a cloud, making a view of anything impossible. But as we were driving down the mountain, about halfway, there was a clear view of the porcupine islands covered in pouring fog, and the valley in complete untraceable sunshine. It was nice. I got some fishing in. I wasn't really aiming to catch anything, but I got some good practice on my casting, and the sunsets were fucking amazing.
On Saturday I slowly made my way back to connecticut. We stopped at my aunt and uncle's house. It was fun. I love them. We talked about training Ivan, and I got to see my cousin's baby Jed. Aw.
I just finished catching up on the journals.
I need some late night drives with best friend to help with the blues, and a visit with Madeleine because she's sad.
