I missed much of the Diana Concert and practically all of the Live Earth concert on TV. I caught a couple of wonderful faux pas's with the Diana concert. My favourite was Mark Owen of Take That earnestly singing with much emphasis something like "You're in a hole, and I want to pull you out." Another was Ricky Gervais (apparently improvising to kill time) singing a song that seemed to be about a comedian who'd topped themselves? All I saw of Live Earth was Genesis opening and interviews with some comedians and band members being disarmingly honest about the whole subject. I've been hearing about the problems they had, such as Johnathan Ross cutting away to a pre-recording of Crowded House in Australia half way through Metallica's set?
