It’s not exactly a celebrity wedding, but considering a lack of budget Snowcat and Demolishor have done pretty well for themselves. The words “BONDING PARTY HERE” have been spray-painted on the door in purple, along with a big Decepticon symbol on both the door and the wall. For tonight, the assembly room is Decepticon territory

There's something quietly sad about Wingblade, Blackstar realizes as he watches her speak to One. She's been hanging around the Decepticon base lately, too. A lot more than she had before. And Blackstar's attention drifts to Strata often enough to note how both she and Photon keep a subtle, guarded optic on the young Decepticon Seeker. After a long moment of thought, he finally gives in, taking a chance as he quietly speaks to Wingblade alone.

Wingblade, it's Blackstar. I'm the "secret". Don't let on to One that you know, please; he'd be disappointed. You can use your comm to talk to me; it works. Zamboni One invited me... Dem and Cat don't know, which is why I'm here in "secret". They'd probably literally go ballistic if they knew I was here, and I doubt that Prime guy would appreciate it if they went and blew holes in his city-former. Plus, I don't want to wreck the party. No one else can know I'm here, please, okay?

I... owe you a thank you, too, by the way. You didn't have to stick up for me, kid. To the other Zamboni's, I mean. That was... Thanks.

Blackstar scritches One gently, turning his thoughts back to the Zamboni.

One... She could be your friend, too. She helped Spook. Wingblade is nice, he explains to the zamboni mech.

*Wingblade sighs in frustration, covering up the conversation with Blackstar. She comms him,*

Alright, I won't tell anyone. An' you're welcome, though you don't really need to thank me. Just seemed like the thing to do, you know?

*She looks down at Z-1.* Alright, I'll leave you alone with you imaginary person if you want.

"One not alone." He looks up happily at the empty air. "Have secret."

*Wingblade makes a noise, and start to head away, keeping any hurt she may feel at the zamboni's rejection carefully sealed away in proper Decepticon fashion. She's most likely heading to rejoin one of her sisters, or possibly Steadfast.*

Still... Thanks, he replies to Wingblade, sighing to himself a little as One looks right up at him.

Fair enough, he replies to One, giving the little mech another scritch. You don't want to go play with or see anyone else? Lot of mechs out there now...

Wingblade is, indeed, a proper little Decepticon with her ramrod straight posture and that stiff stalk of hers as she walks away. She reminds him of another proud young Seeker he'd known once.

Wingblade... You don't have to be over here to talk to me, you know. I mean... if you wanted to talk to someone, that is.

He won't insult her by asking, "what's wrong?" She's a Decepticon, a Seeker. But he's been around the block enough times to know that she's hiding something. Something big. That's about as subtle as he can think of to offer her a friendly audial, though.

"Like spook. Pa-ah-sites later." Besides, all the giant people with giant feet are a little hard to deal with. His siblings are all being carried around by someone or other.

*Wingblade manages to find a new container of mid-grade to drink from, and comms Blackstar back.*

I'm just not really in the mood for a party, but Strata an' Photon thought it would be good for me to be here.

Fair 'nuff, One, Blackstar replies to the zamboni in a soft chuckle as he tucks the little mech close again.

Hmm... So tell 'em to slag off and go do what you wanna do, Blackstar suggests to Wingblade.

Still absently scritching Z1, Blackstar watches Wingblade from his invisible hiding place behind the table.

Oh? Why not?

*Wingblade frowns a little, making her way over to SF and leaning against the wall next to her.*

It's not something I want to talk about.

The mystery energon cube floats and drains a little bit more. Fortunately, no one seems to be paying attention to the space behind the table.

*As Wingblade and Steadfast talk, Wingblade also keeps up the conversation with Blackstar.*

So, you made up with one of the zambonis?

He made up with me, sorta. He remembers more than the others. Smarter, too, Blackstar explains.
