Going home...
Okay, so a week from now, I'll be on my way home. YAY! I miss the south, where people talk, and act, and eat normally. I'm dreading that long drive back home. I sure hope the weather will hold out, although I am doubting it will. Gonna take each mile as it comes though.
Things seem to be coming together. My mom and my brother got us an apartment in town. From the way my mom talks about it, it sounds pretty cool. I'll be living there with Adam. Still not sure if Holly is coming with me, though it seems like she will. Gotta get the lights, phone, and internet cut on soon. Probably get all that setup tomorrow.
I may have a job lined up with General Dynamics. That would be a pretty nice job. Otherwise, I'm gonna have to go back to the liquor store for a while. I may consider working a tech support job again. It's a bit stressful, but you do get some good stories out of it.
Not sure if I'm going back to kung fu. Man, my kung fu teacher was crazy. Will probably end up doing aikido again. That was pretty fun.
I'm so nervous and anxious. I wish I was already in Florida, dammit. I WANNA GO HOME! I have another week, and then a long drive. I'll be so glad when it's over. So tense and nervous now. I wish this would just get over with so I can stop thinking about it. Can't wait to go back to a normal life... to go back out to the bars I remember. To see my old friends and family... *sigh* I can't wait.
Well, perhaps the next time I update I'll be back home. I'll be reading over this again and laughing I'm sure, but for now, I'm so uneasy about it. Gonna have to drive thru New York, Jersey, over the big freakin bridge, through Baltimore, Washington DC, then Richmond.... then after that, it's all open road back to Florida.
