in other news... i smashed my finger yesterday at the gym, stupid left ring finger got in the way of a couple dumbells. A lovely ounce or two of blood was drained but i had it on ice fast. I think it broke through every layer of skin on the top of my finger between my middle and end knuckles. It doesnt seem to be broken but its gonna be tender for a looong time, its even bruised -underneath- my finger! Almost went to the emergency room but i was woozy from the pain/shock so dad came to the athletic building instead of meeting me there. Mom splinted and wrapped my finger when i got home; Dad said he didnt think stitches were necessary. I walked around the latter part of yesterday with a sock on my hand to keep it clean and the moisture out from the ice pack -_-. There will be a nice scar though....It's kinda nice to have an RN and a Respiratory Therapist for parents.
ate with Dan, Frank, and Thom yesterday at Noodles & Co. after finger incident. Lots of time spent sitting and talking. Frank left and the 3 of us left went to Thom's and did pretty much nothing but read The Onion :-P
amusing: AC/DC came out with a best of compilation called "Family Jewels" and the ironic thing about it is that "Big Balls" is nowhere to be found on the CDs.
