Why so serious?
Just saw the midnight showing of The Dark Knight. Wow. That's really all I can say. Darker than Burton's original (which says quite a bit), and Ledger's Joker is both fantastically creepy and engrossing at the same time. It's like a train wreck you know is coming, but can't look away. My only complaint of the plot is that it takes so damn long to tell the story. At something like 3 hours long, The Dark Knight is a draining experience.
Wow, I just realized this will be 2 movies in (technically) one day, as I'll be seeing Wanted in....just over 12 hours from now. Fantastic.
Well, I'm off to roll croissant, bake bread, and rock all kinds of shit in the bakery. On no sleep. Because I fucking rock.
