(no subject)
well i got back from deer isle yesterday. its weird and good to be back. all i did was sit on the couch, or lounge chair if it was sunny and read. which drove my parents CRAZY!!! i got so much shit for not going on a run even a bike ride with my fam. but it was very pretty and right on the water, but i did go on the beach a lot to collect sea glass every low tide. that was cool, i love collecting it. and then in some tourist store i read a book about sea glass and all the different colors and how rare they are (orange is the rarest, then red, then yellow), i always wanted to find red when i was younger, never did. but i saved like a MILLION starfish that got caught in the tide and were being dried up in the sun. poor guys.
then we remembered we had friends up there who have kids our age, which was very cool. but we didnt get to hang out with them very much. the boy is a year older than me and soooo cute!! and the girl was very cool. i wish we did hang out with them more because they seemed fun and i got very very bored of playing scrabble and stratego with sam.
we had two lobster dinners. yummmm!!
on the last days i got forced to do a family strength work out (!!! i bet yours dont do that on vacations) and a five mile bike ride that killed me. in 85 degree weather. hell. uhh i hate my parents. and my brother. but then we went to this lily pond which was so nice and warm and pretty.
on the way home, my cats got so overheated and sick it was so sad, because one was in its cat carrier and sounded so sad, and the other one got carsick and threw up, on a towel thank god.
its weird coming back after awhile, i always feel like no one misses me. well maybe a little but everyones so busy anyways so i dont know.
and now my mom is all on my case about summer homework and college research which is even more scary because i dont know! i feel what ever i read in some college guide book is all shit, and all the colleges are the same and then i need to think about money and arhhggg!! and i tried starting summer homework and that was a disaster. i did about 5 minutes and gave up. fuck.
